I've been working on updating two of the eWorld sites in the past couple of days, and have been trying to use CSS positioning and styles to eliminate some code bloat. Along the way I've come to realize just how aweful current implementations of CSS are.

You would think that given the nature of what I do, this sort of thing would cease to amaze me, but you'd be wrong. I just found out today that I can access InfoTrac from anywhere via a convienent web interface. All I have to do is use my library card number... Add that to the pre-existing ability to access the card catalog online, and I never need to go research something again...

Run Lola Run

I saw the movie Run Lola Run last night. It was awesome. Easily one of the best movies I've seen in a long time. Really fast, but a really well done plot.

cassette tapes

I go through a lot of cassette tapes in my job. I just cleaned out my tape drawer (where I throw all my old tapes after I record them), and filled a box with 10 rows of 22 tapes. And that's only the last couple months...
